Born in Paris in 1955, Annie Puybareau began to draw very soon. Her familly settle in Rouen (Normandy) and there she learnt to paint with Robert Savary ( painter of national marine) in the fine art school of this town. Sensitive to nature, she works in plein air, in watever weather is akin to Rouen school postimpressionist. Painter of marines, she is filled with admiration for Boudin’s skies and monet’s seaes. Annie Puybareau paints Seine sides, Norman beaches lively with walkers, colored ports, chalked cliffes. Her technic is based on good knowledge of drawing and colours balance. Her painting is made up with bright, clear and contrasted tints, she alwys finishes with icings. All seams easy ; nevertheless, Annie knows to call her into question : « Nothing is taked for granted, all is to discovered ; that’s what si fascinating. »
Panting privileged moments of life, Annie slides her emotions wicht are reflected in her work.
